Fall Clean-up
Spent plant material can be left until spring although clean up is extremely messier. The dried plant material absorbs moisture from the snow and when the weather warms it starts to decompose. When garden clean up is done in the spring it is heavy with water and harder to dispose.
This garden to the side took 9 hours of cleaning. If done in the srping add at least 2-3 hours extra for the same garden.
